CobCult was not built in a boardroom — it was built in a workshop, stitch by stitch, fuelled by a belief that handcrafted luxury deserves a home here.
The Beginning
A Traveller, a Cobbler, and a Dream
It started in the cobblestone alleys of an old European city — a young designer with a restless mind wandered into a tiny workshop where an old cobbler was stitching a shoe by hand. Watching for hours, he saw the precision, the patience, and the pure artistry of what he was witnessing.
He spent the next two years learning the craft — travelling, apprenticing under third-generation cobblers — before returning to build CobCult from scratch.

2014
The Spark
Frustrated by the lack of truly handcrafted luxury shoes in India, our founder begins learning traditional shoemaking technique from master cobblers.
2016
First Pair
Back in India, the first pair is hand-crafted in a small workshop. Word spreads among friends — orders begin trickling in through referrals alone.
2018
The Studio Opens
CobCult officially opens its atelier with a small team of master craftsmen, built on the belief that true luxury lies beyond the ordinary.
2020
Digital Debut
CobCult launches its online platform, allowing customers across India to order bespoke shoes through a digital fitting experience.
2022
Luxe Collection
The Luxe Collection launches — featuring limited-edition shoes with exotic leathers and hand-finished detailing.
2024
A New Chapter
CobCult expands its customisation studio and continues the journey of crafting footwear that tells a story.
